Iqwinder Gill was introduced to the sport of field hockey at the age of 8 by a family friend and has been playing ever since. A quick, athletic, mobile goalkeeper, he joined the Canadian National Program in 2012.

His career highlight to date was the first time he was able to represent Canadian internationally.

In 2016, Gill was named to the Canadian Junior Men’s National Team for the 2016 Junior Men’s Pan American Games in Toronto, Ontario.

He plays his club hockey for India Club in Surrey, British Columbia.
