Vikram Sandhu vient d’une famille de hockey sur gazon. Son père a représenté l’Inde sur la scène internationale et Vikram a entrepris la pratique de ce sport à l’âge de cinq ans.

Au cours de sa courte carrière sur la scène internationale avec le Canada, Vikram a participé à quelques tournois majeurs.

Sa première participation à un tournoi international junior remonte à la Coupe du Monde junior en 2013 quand le Canada a joué contre la Corée. En 2014, il a représenté le Canada aux Jeux olympiques de la jeunesse à Nanjing en Chine, aidant l’équipe à remporter la médaille d’argent au tournoi de hockey à cinq.

Vikram Sandhu comes from a field hockey family. His dad represented Indian internationally and Vikram started playing at the age of five.

In his short career at the international level with Canada, Vikram has experienced some major tournaments.

His first junior international appearance was in 2013 at the Junior World Cup when Canada faced Korea. In 2014, he represented Canada at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China, helping the team bring home a silver medal in the Hockey 5s competition.
