CEO Jeff Sauvé chats field hockey on TSN Radio’s International Sports Report

Field Hockey Canada Chief Executive Officer Jeff Sauvé recently joined TSN Radio’s Lins O’Connor on The International Sports Report to chat about field hockey and the Road to Rio.
The chat covered a variety of topics from the basics of the sport to the Men’s National Team and their chances at the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
Sauvé reiterated Canada’s goal of not only participating in but challenging for a medal at the Olympics, saying that it is what the Men’s National Team is “planning for.”
He also referenced the trajectory of growth and potential of the Women’s National Team – ranked 19th in the world and currently on tour in New Zealand – which has a goal of qualifying for and aiming for the podium at the 2020 Olympic in Tokyo.
