Field Hockey Canada > Field Hockey Canada relocates offices to Richmond Olympic Oval

High-performance sport environment perfect for growing Field Hockey nation-wide

Field Hockey Canada is excited to announce that the organization has moved the head office to the Richmond Olympic Oval. The Oval was originally constructed for the 2010 Winter Olympics and offers an amazing multi-sport experience. This location will be a great new office space for Field Hockey Canada to start its next chapter.

Field Hockey Canada CEO, Susan Ahrens said the partnership was an easy decision in the end and is thrilled to be working in an engaging and sports-oriented atmosphere.

“We’re thrilled to be working in a high-performance environment,” Ahrens said. “We’re working to deliver a high performance on and off the field, so this move just feels like a great fit for us. The staff here have been very welcoming in our early days and we’re excited to continue working with such a great partner.”

Prior to centralizing in Europe, the Women’s National Team used the high-performance facility for strength & conditioning. The Men’s National Team and National Junior Development Athletes currently use the high-performance facilities at the Oval for their strength and conditioning training. They also use the indoor gym space to play indoor hockey in the winter time. The heightened connection to our national team athletes is an added bonus to the already positive shift to the Oval.
