Field Hockey Canada is hiring three summer job positions to support program delivery

Field Hockey Canada is hiring an events coordinator, a special project coordinator and a communications and marketing coordinator to support the organization’s programming this summer. All positions are made available thanks to the Government of Canada’s Canada Summer Jobs program. Canada Summer Jobs provides wage subsidies to employers from not-for-profit organizations, the public sector, and private sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees, to create quality summer work experiences for young people aged 15 to 30 years. The positions will run between eight and 10 weeks starting as early as June 1. Apply today and share with your network.

1- Special Projects Coordinator [Hall of Fame] – The Field Hockey Canada Special Project Coordinator/Hall of Fame & Historical Archives summer position is responsible for supporting successful communication, events and archival initiatives for the organization during the summer of 2022. Special priority on supporting the delivery of our 2021 Hall of Fame class induction videos and stories.

 2- Events Coordinator – The Field Hockey Canada Events Coordinator summer position is responsible for supporting successful event management and planning as well as assisting with communication activities for the organization during the summer of 2022. Special priority on supporting the successful organization and management of Field Hockey Canada Nationals (held in Vancouver, in July and August).

3- Communications & Marketing Coordinator – Responsible to the Communications Manager, the Communications & Marketing Coordinator will lead and support communications, marketing, sponsorship and fundraising initiatives. The Communications & Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with fundraising lead on ongoing annual fundraising campaigns and will have a special priority in supporting game coverage for the FIH Women’s World Cup, Commonwealth Games and domestic National Championships in Vancouver.
