On November 4th, the field hockey community will gather in Coquitlam, BC for the Fourth Annual Field Hockey Game for the Cure in support of the BC Cancer Foundation. The event at Cunnings Turf Field #7 in Town Centre Park will feature a match between the Tri-City Eagles Field Hockey Club Senior Women’s Team and a local High School Select “All-Stars” Team.
Field Hockey Canada is looking to fill the role of Team Manager for the Men’s National U17 Squad. The individual should be passionate about sport and field hockey, and have a strong appreciation and understanding of the requirements for a high performance environment.
In less than a month, the Women’s National Team will represent Canada at the 2012 FIH World League Round 1 in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. From November 11th to 17th our women will compete against Barbados, Uruguay, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana and Venezuela. This is Canada’s first step toward qualification for the 2014 World Cup.
