Building the extraordinary together at the Junior World Cup

Field Hockey Canada is pleased to announce Intracorp Homes Inc. as the Lead Partner for the Junior Women’s National Team ahead of the 2022 Junior World Cup.

For over four decades, Intracorp has built extraordinary homes across North America and has earned its reputation as a trusted real estate developer in the continent. From townhomes to apartment residences, they take pride in their value to not only the homes built, but also the communities they build in.

“Intracorp is proud to support the Women’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup and the amazing athletes who will be competing,” said Mandy Hoeltgen, Vice President of Marketing.

“Whether it’s in the business of building communities, or competing in the World Cup, we believe that the greatest results are seen when an extraordinary team comes together. It’s an extraordinary achievement to qualify for the World Cup, and we’ll be cheering on the Junior Women’s National Team as they represent Canada abroad!”

Intracorp Homes is the Lead Partner for the Junior Women’s National Team at the 2022 Junior World Cup and will be featured at the front of all match jerseys.

Taking place in Potchefstroom, South Africa, the tournament was originally scheduled for December 2021 before being cancelled due to the then-emerging Omicron variant. After qualifying in gold medal position at the Junior Pan American Championships last year, the Wolf Pups are ready to prove their prowess on the world stage.

Field Hockey Canada CEO Susan Ahrens added, “We are incredibly grateful to Intracorp for their support of our Junior Women’s National Team. In amateur sport where costs are high, support like this makes a real difference to the team and our ability to perform on the world stage.”

As the group prepares to return to South Africa, they will partake in a final training camp in Toronto late in March. Zimbabwe, Netherlands and USA make up their pool play matches as they kick off the competition on April 1, 2022. For more information, please visit the Junior World Cup event page.

Our Junior Women’s National Team is able to compete in the wonderful opportunity thanks to the generous support from our community. Thank you to our sponsors, Intracorp Homes and The Indian Maharadja, for supporting the team on the road to the FIH Junior World Cup!
