The International Student Athlete Scholarship Scheme at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland is aimed at Female Field Hockey Players who would be interested in studying a postgraduate degree course at the university for one academic year. The Alberta Field Hockey Association is pleased to announce the recent decision to host two Alberta Cup tournaments in the 2011 year.
The first tournament will be the 2011 Senior Indoor – Alberta Cup that will take place at the Talisman Centre in Calgary, Alberta on February 25 – 27, 2011. All club and provincial teams are invited to participate in the tournament. The tournament registration deadline is January 31, 2011…

Aaron has a long history as a Club and University player in Australia, followed by a move to B.C. where he played on the B.C. Provincial team, and the Vancouver Hawks Hockey Club. The FIH can announce the All Star teams for 2010, which feature a total of 36 players and four coaches who have lit up the hockey world over the past 12 months with their achievements.
The impressive squads feature a number of legendary icons who have been named on the All Stars lists on many previous occasions, such as five time nominees Luciana Aymar (ARG), Jamie Dwyer (AUS) and Teun de Nooijer (NED).
