USA Women’s National Team Defeat Canada in Game One

The Canadian Women’s National Field Hockey Team lost to Team USA 5-0 in Chula Vista, California, yesterday in their first game of a four match Test Series. This was the Canadian’s first match in an international competition since October at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India.

The Hockey Institute presents the 2011 Gemuetlichkeit Indoor Kup on February 27 – 28, 2011 at RIM Park in Waterloo, Ontario. There is a Women’s division open for 10 teams as well as a Men’s division that is open for 10 teams. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 4 games (2 periods of 20 minutes). The Alberta Field Hockey Association is pleased to announce the recent decision to host two Alberta Cup tournaments in the 2011 year.
