FIH publishes Rulebook for 2013
The FIH has published its 2013 edition of the Outdoor Hockey Rulebook, which is now available to read and download on the FIH website rules page.
Making a difference in Mexico
The Men’s Junior National Team is collecting new and used field hockey equipment (sticks, stick bags, balls, gloves, shin guards and turf shoes – anything field hockey related) to support local athletes in Mexico.

From National Team Player to International Umpire
Lelia Sacré, age 24 from North Delta, BC, former member of the Women’s Junior and Senior National Teams from 2005 to 2007. She has coached a variety of U14 to U18 girls teams in BC. In 2011 she began training to be an international umpire and this past July she travelled on the 2012 Junior Women’s Europe Tour (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain). Sacré shares some interesting facts about her transition from player to umpire.
National Championships – In 2012 and 2013 and Beyond
Organizing a National Championship event is a huge undertaking for a provincial organization and FHC is extremely grateful to FHBC and FHA for the hosting of this year’s National tournaments. These events showcase the most talented athletes from across the country and I am encouraged by what I have seen in 2012.

Anthony Farry to lead Men’s National Team
As all eyes are on London – the Canadian Men’s National Field Hockey Team looks toward the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Anthony Farry will lead the charge as the new Head Coach of the Men’s National Team. Building on the solid progress that has already been made – Farry is eager to continue establishing a professional training environment and ultimately lead Canada to consistent success on the international stage.
